My sole purpose in doing this hike is to pick up the two remaining sections on the south side between South Bass and the Little Colorado I have not done:  the north approach off Horseshoe Mesa and the five-mile section of the Tonto between Cottonwood Creek and Hance Creek.  All my hiking buddies canceled at the last minute, so I will be solo on this hike.
