After doing the North Bass Trail last year, I thought an interesting hike would be to go out to Dutton Point on the Powell Plateau.  Both my normal hiking buddies had to cancel this year, so I'm headed out there solo.  I was a little concerned about driving my car to Swamp Point, but the road conditions were excellent the whole way and I had no problems.  Be sure you have directions for reaching Swamp Point before heading out. 

     My plan is to leave Swamp Point, descend to Teddy's Cabin, climb up to the Powell Plateau, travel across the plateau to Dutton Point, spend one night at Dutton Point, and then return the next day.
