For the second time, this was a really great trip.  Keith and I enjoyed it a lot.  Before going the first time, I never knew quite what to make of a river trip on such a large raft.  However, what our big boat gave up in maneuverability, it gained in stability.  Our crew was extremely professional and knowledgeable about Canyon geology and history.  The food was fantastic.  How our crew was able to fix those great meals is amazing.  Our raft was made to carry twenty passengers, but we only had sixteen on our trip.  That extra room was very nice.  There was such a diversity of backgrounds of the passengers, the social interactions were fascinating, and the large group really helped in loading and unloading the boat.  Early May is a great time to travel on the river due to the pleasant temperatures and blooming plant life.  I had such a good time that I am sure I will do this trip again.
