ALL HIKERS

PREFACE

This is one of those longer hikes I have wanted to do for some time.  Keith and I are doing our second hike together, having done a Tanner-Beamer-Little Colorado hike last fall.

I have coordinated with some folks from Alaska I met at Hance Creek last spring who are doing the identical hike in the opposite direction.  We will be driving their truck to the trailhead, benefiting both of us.  We get transportation to the trailhead and their truck is right there when they finish their hike.  We have the directions for getting to the trailhead before starting out.

Our plan is for a leisurely seven-night hike with camps at: west of Serpentine Canyon, Ruby Canyon, Turquoise Canyon, Agate Canyon, Slate Creek, Boucher Creek, and on the Boucher Trail just before reaching the Dripping Springs Trail.  Because this has been a very wet winter in northern Arizona, we hope there will be water in most of the canyons.  For additional safety, we are carrying a satellite phone.
