I can't tell you how great this trip was.  My kids and I really enjoyed it.  I'm sure I will do it again sometime.  Before going, I didn't know what to make of a river trip on such a large raft.  However, what our big raft gave up in maneuverability, it gained in stability.  Our crew was extremely professional and knowledgeable about Canyon geology and history.  The food was fantastic.  We never had the same supper twice and only duplicated breakfast and lunch once.  Our large group of twenty was actually a plus.  There was such a diversity of backgrounds, the social interactions were fascinating, and the large group really helped in loading and unloading the boat.  April is a great time to travel on the river due to the pleasant temperatures and blooming plant life.
