This was a great
trip, especially considering I had no knee problems whatsoever. Our
trip highlights were:
- The North Rim Lodge.
- The wonderful
autumn colors of the trees and foliage coming down the North Kaibab Trail,
even though obscured somewhat by the clouds and fog.
- Ribbon Falls.
- Those great meals at Phantom
Ranch.
- The inspiration
those two older gentlemen who were hiking the Canyon gave me.
I am completely energized by the two
older men I met on the trail and the lack of knee problems I had. I am
really looking forward to another hike next year.
